The biggest and most efficient particleboard plant in China, which Siempelkamp erected for Dare Global Wood Industry, was officially opened on May 28, 2006 in front of 1000 invited guests from politics and industry. The first board in the plant had been produced just 5 days before when the customer expressed the "wish" that the plant would be in full production by the time of the opening ceremony and the guided tour by the guests. Hard work combined with the know-how gained from 3 plants already commissioned for Dare, however, saw the team through, enabling guests to see the plant in production mode. What they saw was a particleboard plant that is setting new standards for China. At the heart of the plant is the ContiRoll®, 8‘ x 42.1 m in length. It allows 1500 cubic meters boards to be produced every single day, making it the second-biggest continuous particleboard press in Asia.
