The Premier Paper Group announces management changes and key appointments. Richard Minns, previously Group Supply Chain Director, has retired after 30 years in the industry. His logistics role has been filled by Chris Evans, Logistics Director, formerly of Marston’s PLC, and Frank Herbert, Supply Chain Manager, who was previously with Cadbury Schweppes. Also joining the team as Commercial Manager and with 22 years experience in the paper industry is Matt Ingram.
Courtney Candler, who was the Group Finance Director, becomes a Non-Executive Director whilst Premier’s former Financial Controller Simon Taylor steps up into the Group Finance Director role.
Early in 2016 Graham Griffiths became Chairman of the Group, creating a vacancy for the position of Managing Director which will be filled by Dave Allen, previously CEO at Paperlinx, who joins on 1st June 2016.
Graham will become Non-Executive Chairman by the year end. Also joining the Supervisory Board as Non-Executive Director is Malcolm Cook, previously a Senior Partner in Corporate Finance, at BDO in Birmingham.
The Premier Paper Group is a major purchaser of paper and board products, dealing with many of the worlds leading paper producers.
