Russian government issued an enactment N707 dated November, 24 introducing changes into Russian customs tariff concerning the import duties on particular sorts furniture, Russian government department of information reported. Separate subpositions were singled out in the Customs tariff imposing a specific duty of EUR 0,75/kg for some sorts of furniture, ad-valorem duty of 20% of the customs value was imposed on other sorts of furniture. Earlier imposed combined duty was 20% of customs value no less than EUR 0,6/kg. The following subpositions were excluded from Russian external trade mix-product: wooden sleeping furniture (Код ТН ВЭД 9403 50 000 0), wooden furniture for dining- and living-rooms (9403 60 100 0), other wooden furniture (9403 60 900 0). The following subpositions were included into Russian external trade-mix: wooden sleeping furniture (9403 50 000) at the price not exceeding EUR 1,8/kg gross weight (value at importer’s border) (9403 50 000), at the price not exceeding EUR 1,8/kg gross weight (value at importer’s border) (9403 50 000 9) Wooden furniture for dining- and living-roomsother furniture (9403 60 100 9) at the price not exceeding EUR 1,8/kg gross weight (value at importer’s border) (9403 60 100 1), other furniture (9403 60 100 9), other wooden furniture (9403 60 900) at the price not exceeding EUR 1,8/kg gross weight (value at importer’s border) (9403 60 900 1), other furniture (9403 60 900 9). Gross-weight is the article mass plus the mass of the package necessary for its storage and transportation. The article total mass does not include the mass of the package suitable for repeated usage. The following duty rates were imposed (% from the customs value or EUR) Wooden sleeping furniture (9403 50 000) at the price not exceeding EUR 1,8/kg gross weight (value at importer’s border) (9403 50 000 1) - EUR 0,75/kg. Other furniture (9403 50 000 9) - 20% Wooden furniture for dining- and living rooms (9403 60 100) at the price not exceeding EUR 1,8/kg gross weight (value at importer’s border) (9403 60 100 1) EUR 0,75/kg. Other furniture (9403 60 100 9) - 20% Other wooden furniture (9403 60 900) at the price not exceeding EUR 1,8/kg gross weight (value at importer’s border) (9403 60 900 1) EUR 0,75/kg. Other furniture (9403 60 900 9) - 20% Wooden furniture (9403 90 300 0) - 20%, not less than EUR 0,75/kg.
