Russian Tver regional timber, timber-processing and pulp and paper enterprises reported prices up 5,3% in February 2004 compared with December 2003 and up 1,2% compared with January 2004, regional State statistics committee reported. Overall Tver regional price index was 105,8% in February 2004 compared with January 2004 and 107,8% compared with December 2003. Chemical industry also witnessed price index boost in February 2004 – up 14,1% compared with December 2003, machinery building – up 6,1% compared with December 22003 and 4,6% compared with January 2004.
