Letter-based plywood grading (B, S, BB, CP, C) now includes numbered grading (I, II, III, IV), as SVEZA said in a press release received by Lesprom Network The amendment was introduced to bring the STO of SVEZA (Standard of organization - the main document to which SVEZA products are produced) in line with international practice, and also to increase the competitiveness of SVEZA products on the international market with their foreign counterparts. In addition to labeling, requirements for the shear on glue layer have been harmonized with foreign standards. The amendments were carried out under the supervision of the Technical Committee for Standardization TC 67 “Plywood and plywood products” which gave a positive opinion about the Amendment No.2 STO.
