Dec 24, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Savcor has won a competitive tendering of a project where requirements specifications for log bucking service will be defined. In the project a common information system increasing efficiency of logging and related on-line services will be defined for the forest industry, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

With the new system log bucking will be taken to the next level and further optimized by utilizing forest stand data and ICT development work. Savcor has wide experience in this field of industry and understands its customers’ special needs, which secures the new system enhances wood value as well as increases the efficiency of harvesting.

The project customers are Metsä Group, Metsähallitus, Stora Enso Oyj and UPM Oyj. The requirements specifications are expected to be ready in April 2015.
