Oct 22, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Sodra Cell is raising its prices from 1 November to USD 600 per tonne for long-fibre pulp and USD 520 per tonne for short-fibre pulp, principally birch and eucalyptus. The background is stronger market conditions, states marketing director Ulf Edman. ”We can now report an improved delivery situation as well as reduced stocks after a tough autumn with market imbalance. We therefore consider the conditions for a price rise now to be good,” he says. Ulf Edman doesn’t exclude the possibility of further price rises.
