U.S. containerboard production increased 4.7% in September
U.S. containerboard production in September 2014 was 3.4% lower compared to August 2014, on account of the fewer production days, but 4.7% higher than September of last year and 0.7% higher year-to-date.

production in September 2014 was 3.4% lower compared to August 2014, on account
of the fewer production days, but 4.7% higher than September of last year and 0.7%
higher year-to-date, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in the
press release received by Lesprom Network.
The month-over-month average daily production was flat.
The containerboard operating rate for September rose to 97.7% from
August’s 96.2%.
