VIDA Paper, Lessebo Bruk, has signed an agreement with the papermerchant group PaperlinX where VIDA Paper becomes the main supplier of coloured paper in there of their main markets, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and encompass 15 countries in all. PaperlinX who have activities in Europe, Australia, US West Coast, Canada and New Zealand have annual sales of 4.5 million tonnes of paper. The negotiations have been going on for the last 8 months with strong competition. From an earlier position of 10 suppliers PaperlinX have decided to co-operate with one main supplier. The reason for the the choice of VIDA Paper is partly due to the strength of thye mill brand Kaskad and its quality and partly due to the value put at the financial strength of VIDA Paper and the long term vision with the VIDA organisation in the background. Vida AB (Limited) is Sweden’s largest privately owned sawmill group with approximately 1000 employees.
