Aug 21, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Work is progressing on a new planer line at Vida’s Alvesta sawmill. The investment will see double Alvesta’s planing capacity to about 120,000 cubic metres. The new line is expected to be operational in early 2013, as TTJ reported. The group’s timber building company Villa is currently delivering wall sections it has fabricated for the new building to house the new line. Some 36 wall panels are being installed by Villa for the 400 square metres extension.
