Rob Franken, Segezha Packaging Regional Sales Officer, was elected President of European Federation of Multiwall Paper Sacks Manufacturers (Eurosac). The President is elected for a period of two years, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The management of Segezha Packaging (part of Segezha Group) suggested Rob Franken, who previously served as Vice-President at Eurosac, as a candidate for this position. He started his career with the company 10 years ago as Sales Director emerging markets.

Eurosac was founded in 1952. Eurosac includes not only European manufactures of paper sacks and bags, but also producers from other countries, as well as suppliers to the industry. The Federation represents over 75% of European producers operating in 20 countries. Their production accounts for more than 5 billion paper bags or 650,000 tons of paper converted at 60 plants.

Segezha Packaging (part of Segezha Group) holds a leading position in the paper packaging industry. The company operates 9 manufacturing plants in Europe and Russia producing in excess of 1.4 billion sacks per year for five key sectors: Building materials, Human food, Chemicals & Minerals, Agri-products and Waste & Recycling.
