Russian Kotlassky received 2 German loaders worth EUR 850 thousand

Sep 10, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Kotlassky pulp and paper enterprise (Akrhangelsk region, owned by Ilim Pulp) received 2 modern Sennebogen loaders. The contract to supply the equipment worth EUR 850 thousand was signed in February 2004. According to Kotlassky press-office, the loaders equipped with a modern automatic control system, are meant for timber loading and storing on the open-air storage sites. It is not the first time Kotlassky is importing similar equipment. The 1st Sennebogen loader was received in early 2004 and has been operating successfully ever since. In winter the loader was used for timber piling with the daily capacity of 800 cub m. The recently received loaders have a bit different technical specifications which allow the usage of the loaders on various open-air sites. The replacement of the outworn equipment for the new one is part of the 3 years’ modernization program. The modernization is aimed at reducing the costs of timber production.
