The enterprises of Segezha Group (part of Sistema JSFC) united in the Timber Resources Division have been consistently increased harvest of timber, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
At the end of 5 months of the current year the enterprises have harvested 1 million 254 thousand cubic meters of timber, the target is exceeded by 16%.
During the same period Segezha Group timber enterprises have shipped 1 million 234 cubic meters (exceeding the target by 23%). 1 million 33 thousand cubic meters have been shipped in January–May 2016, exceeding the target by 13%.
"Overproduction is linked to the implementation of the first stage of Segezha Group's investment program for modernizing timber subdivisions. Strengthening management, educating staff, motivation, internal professional competitions are all stimulating the growth of performance indicators", Alexei Sazonov, Director of Segezha Group's Timber Division, said.
Segezha Group is the largest vertically integrated forest industry holding company in Russia providing the full cycle of logging and added-value wood processing.
