WEPA Group has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in MPH1865, a French manufacturer of hygiene paper and soap for the Away-from-Home sector, with the combined entity now operating as WEPA Professional France. Following the acquisition, WEPA will operate four production sites in France and employ approximately 1,000 people there. Marc Miribel will remain President of the company. WEPA Professional France's portfolio will be expanded to include soaps, disinfectants, non-woven wipes and personal protective equipment.
WEPA is one of Europe's three largest hygiene paper manufacturers.
