Russian Bratsky pulp and cardboard enterprise owned by Ilim Pulp successfully passed OHSAS professional security, labor and health protection certification audit, Ilim Pulp spokesperson told Lesprom.ru. The audit was conducted by Bureau Veritas Quality International headed by Seregy Zybin. On December, 14-16 auditors inspected the departments and services on the enterprise, interviewed managers and workers, analizing the necessary documentation. The current certification is the 3rd step towards the establishment of integrated management system. In 2002 the enterprise successfully passed ISO 9001 certification, and in 2003 obtained ISO 14001 environmental management certificate. Auditors valued high the existing management system. ‘The successful OHSAS 18001 certification audit proves that the integrated management system is efficiently operating on the enterprise, which is the main condition for efficient labor organization’ head auditor Sergey Zybin said.
