Dec 12, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. All Ilim Group's branches in Bratsk, Ust-Ilimsk and Koryazhma, Russia, have signed collective bargaining agreements for a 3-year period, 2009 through 2011, the company announced. These documents are one of the most important tools in cooperation of Mills' management, trade unions and employees in terms of following civilized social partnership principles. All of the newly signed agreements retain the social protection and benefits package. As well as current agreements, new documents include sections concerning salaries, labor safety, additional social benefits and compensations, labor dispute resolution, etc. It is the first time that collective bargaining agreements have been signed for a three-year period rather than a one-year period, which is a reflection of a long-term approach to planning development of Ilim Group branches. Not only do the agreements retain the critical social protection package but they also spell out the mechanism for its indexation. Although the agreements have been signed for a period of three years, the sections concerning salaries, social benefits and labor safety will be reviewed annually, Ilim said.
