May 14, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Koryazhma branch of Ilim Group started industrial production of new products. These are single ply cartonboard with ultra light basis weights and light weight fluting 80 grams per square metres, the company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. New products have the same strength characteristics as common cartonboard and fluting, but weigh less. So, production of light materials lowers operating costs and more accurately correspond to customer's demands. Production of new products gives the company's corrugated boxes business an advantage on competitors, and is incremental board business to the Koryazhma mill.
