IlimSibLes will spend RUR6 million for forest restoration
6. IlimSibLes, Arkhangelsk region, Russia, belonging to the Ust-Ilimsk Group of logging enterprises owned by Ilim Pulp Corporation will spend about RUR6 million for forest restoration in 2006. This is by RUR500 thousand more than in 2005.

IlimSibLes, Arkhangelsk region, Russia, belonging to the Ust-Ilimsk Group of logging enterprises owned by Ilim Pulp Corporation will spend about RUR6 million for forest restoration in 2006. This is by RUR500 thousand more than in 2005, Ilim Pulp press-service reported.
Soil for forest restoration will be prepared on the area of 1500 hectares, total area of forest sowing and planting will make up 1440 hectares, more by 140 hectares, or 10%, than in 2005.
Forest restoration area increase is caused by leased forest area extension.
In 2005, IlimSibLes got the tender for logging in Evenk and Kodinsky forestry, Krasnoyarsk region.
