Finnish Metso company representatives participating in the commercial tender to supply automated production control and maintenance equipment to Russian Ust-Ilimsky timber-industry mill will visit the enterprise today, Ust-Ilimsky public-affairs reported. Another tender-participant Japanese Yokogawa company also offered to assemble and launch automated production control and maintenance equipment to Ust-Ilimsky timber-industry mill to control pulp boiling, washing and sorting. The new equipment will boost the pulp boiler production capacity from 860 tonne/day to 1200 tonne/day and will improve production quality under international standards. Ust-Ilimsky timber-industry mill is owned by Ilim Pulp Enterprise, one of Russia’s largest timber-industry corporations.
