Russian Ilim Pulp Enterprises intends to double the turnover exceeding $2 billion by 2007 compared with 2003, Ilim Pulp director for timber business development Dmitri Chuiko told journalists. The company’s financial result will increase 2,5 times by 2007 compared with the prior period in 2003. Pulp and paper production turnover will increase from $800 million in 2003 to $1,2 billion in 2007. Timber-processing production turnover will reach $700-800 million, timber-felling production will reach $300 million. Presently timber-felling and timber-processing production turnover is $170 million.
