Sep 27, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Ust-Ilimsky LDZ, belonging to Ilim Pulp Corporation, will produce window scantlings beginning from October, 2005. The production will be delivered to the North American market in the framework of enterprise’s joint project with large American company Tbr Llc producing window frames, Ust-Ilimsky LDZ press-service reported. Ust-Ilimsky LDZ has undertaken to send one container of window scantlings monthly to the North American company from October till the end of the year. 129 cubic meters of integrated products will be sent by the end of the year. At the end of the quarter the enterprise will resume the results of cooperation. The results being positive, window scantlings production output and supplies volume will be increased. Ust-Ilimsky LDZ development strategy supposes increase of part of high valued products. At present the enterprise produces softwood lumber, building storages, furniture components, forest products and pulpchips for pulp-and-paper mills. Enterprise’s production is exported to Western Europe, Middle East and Northern Africa, as well as to Japan, Canada and USA.
